toaster389 This is pretty good - to be fair, I'm a bit drunk, so I won't know until I watch a couple more episodes. But I just finished this one, and at the very beginning, I really enjoyed the initial reasoning. And I also enjoyed the realism of the detective work, visiting the place where the kid was killed, finding the guy who did it, and such. I'm trying to explain why I liked this episode without any spoilers but without spoilers, nothing I say really does this show justice so far. One thing I DON'T LIKE is that it feels like this show is just Sherlock Holmes except he switched names with his rival, Moriarty. Moriarty doesn't feel like much of a criminal yet, aside from the obvious. But what difference does the executioner make if someone commits a crime that warrants a death sentence? Just saying.

Grimnir @mad199109 i really hope you see this comment and answer to this. What you are saying is pretty interesting. Did you know that some killers also kill since they got abused in their childhood ? Do you know how the world works to speak that confident about killing other people ? An eye for an eye is a philosophie thats been arround for a really long time but the problem with it is that as long as you dont see the whole picture it ends in a spiral of dead bodys. If the lord in this series had a son and he never noticed what his father has done and to him it just looks like his father got brutally murderd it would make sense for him to kill the tailor since he never knew the full truth and even if he would know most people are in deny when it comes to people close to them and tell themself that people lie to protect the real killer. Whos evil now ? The person that took Justice in their own hand ? The son who killed the tailor ? What if turns out that Lord was sexually abused as a kid as well by many older people and therefore it just seemed normal to him ? What if killing his victims was caused by pychological damaged since the second he abused them he felt in their position again and he did it so he can feel strong and empowerd again ? What if you put in even simpler ? If there is a person whos sick and she has a disease yet the only people it kills are people arround them and never the carrier itself, would you kill the person with the disease or would you try to capture her and try to get her cured and even if you cant cure her try to understand that disease to prevent people from catching it ?

mad199109 This was absolutely stunning. I avoided this series since I tend to dislike a show with nothing but fuck-boys, but boy, was I wrong. It even attacks the philosophies of the current world: "What you are planning to do is a crime in this world". Pedophiles should be killed. Murderers should be killed, unless justified by previous unjust bloodshed. Marvelous. A psychological series that makes you question your own humanity. We have not had the likes in many years... almost decades.

ringleader11 "People want what they see" is actually the line from Silence of the Lamb, where Hannibal told Clarice that people covet what they see everyday. Not sure if Silence of the Lamb got it from another source, or what.

Genre: Mystery Shounen Psychological Historical
Date aired : Oct 11, 2020
Status : Ongoing
In the late 19th century, the British Empire has become a global power. Due to the strict class stratification, the average citizen has little chance of successfully rising up to the top, where the despicable nobility rules over them all. William James Moriarty, the second son of the Moriarty household, is a young mathematics professor who has displayed great cunning and intellect since he was a child. Along with his brothers Albert and Louis, he lives the simple life of a noble. Outside of school, William is a well-known private consultant willing to solve the problems of anyone in need. However, his gentle demeanor belies his position as the head of a group prepared to wreak havoc in pursuit of its desireā€”a new world built from the ashes of the old. Yuukoku no Moriarty puts a new spin on Arthur Conan Doyle's original work by putting the spotlight on its main antagonist and exploring how he came to be the first and only "criminal consultant."
