Yakusoku no Neverland

At Grace Field House, life couldn't be better for the orphans! Though they have no parents, together with the other kids and a kind "Mama" who cares for them, they form one big, happy family. No child is ever overlooked, especially since they are all adopted by the age of 12. Their daily lives involve rigorous tests, but afterwards, they are allowed to play outside. There is only one rule they must obey: do not leave the orphanage. But one day, two top-scoring orphans, Emma and Norman, venture past the gate and unearth the harrowing secret behind their entire existence. Utilizing their quick-wittedness, the children must work together to somehow change their predetermined fate.

ero-sennin S2 is out but not on here YET. there's three episodes out and i already watched them. i feel like those wierdos like ParadoxPNG are gonna complain about it. i know they complain about everything as if they're professional critiques or something. but after an ending like that, tf did you expect you know? anyway THIS IS A MASTERPIECE. instead of listening to anyone here, watch it first.

lvi-o-sa as a loyal Attack on Titan fan, seeing how this story unfold in a very well thought manner (it's pure mental & strategy), plus added the fact that it's cinematic music is really something made me ranked this on the second best anime of all time imo (I know, I'm such a sucker for strategist, dramatic action anime tropes) That's why I love AOT & TPN so much but sadly people were so overrated with BNHA & KNY nowadays. & cannot see gems like these.

Japansko This was such an amazing anime. The plot is well thought out, characters are far beyond interesting, plot points are amazing that no one could've suspected them, the animation is smooth and looks realistic. 10/10 The creators really outdid themselves.

ParadoxPNG This is a good anime, definitely different from what I expected but it was still good. I wouldn't describe this as a horror anime though, sure it has some disturbing aspects but I didn't find it scary at all. It's mostly about strategy and mental stuff, the way people think and the reasoning behind their actions, trying to elaborate an escape plan while keeping everything a secret, not being able to trust anyone and pretending everything is fine while knowing the worst secrets. I didn't find it particularly entertaining but I'm still glad I watched it and I recommend you do too. From the ending, I have faith the 2nd season will be even better so I'm looking forward to it!

skilet2 This anime is a bit too overrated and overhyped but It's a solid 7(season 2 is supposedly to be better from the little manga I've read ahead) out of 10 for me, far from master piece and the "WOW MIND FUCK SO SAD" reaction but worth watching if you're into some big brain strategy stuff, but even there it falls of to things like psycho pass death note etc. I'm more into the livestock perspective and the backstory, the mystery, that's it's strong points, imo.

kingly Having the same setting over and over bothered me a little. That's probably the only bad thing I can say about this anime! The endingleft me wi th the expectation that season 2 will be alot better than it already is. Would recommend!!!

ZhonLord The Promised Neverland.... Wow. Just wow. I enjoy a good thriller now and then, but I'm not normally partial to horror. And don't let the description play it light for you, this IS a horror/thriller hybrid. I can't say anything more about the plot because even from the end of Episode 1, the spoilers begin and you deserve the power and emotional impact you will get going into this blind. SERIOUSLY DON'T SPOIL A SINGLE MOMENT OF THIS FOR YOURSELF!!!! What I can talk about are the absolutely fantastic characters, animation, music and direction. For those of you coming in from reading the manga, none of the characters' internal monologues happen. You're left sitting in silence and only having their faces and other expressions as your only clue to the thoughts burning through these children's young minds, and it's a powerful way to increase the suspense. The three main leads absolutely steal the show - Norman, the smooth-talking master planner; Ray, the book-smarts analyzer with a cold eye for almost everyone; and Emma, holy crap Emma, the energetic optimistic athletic BEAST of a driving moral center - do NOT mess with her if you know what's good for you. And then you have Mama, who all I can say is her delivery is amazing and her loving demeanor is both very fitting and very creepy at the same time - I can't say anything more about her. Sister Krone is probably the weakest of the cast, as the show relies on traditional stereotypes Japan has of African people for a large amount of her expressions, but even that is only a slight blemish on an energetic, passionate, surprisingly sympathetic character. And the music - subtle for the most part, but always there, and when it steps out to be noticed it drives already-amazing scenes into a state of perfection. The pacing is perfectly timed for every single episode, never letting the goal out of sight but never rushing past any critical scenes. You are right there alongside the kids for every moment, every triumph and failure, every happy sad and scared moment. I have to stop here or I will spoil things, so just take this as a ringing 12/10 endorsement for this anime: WATCH PROMISED NEVERLAND NOW!!!
