rserrao I guess they had to make 25 episodes.... Interesting anime though. However, does anybody find it strange that everything just seems to work out for the slime character? I mean all those special abilities, how everyone he meets ends up being his friend and loyal subject. Kind of anoying and unreal.

Finfan Sigh! No new episode today. I decided to start reading the light novel. I don't know how close the manga and anime will follow that story line but it makes me wonder how the anime will handle it. Things get pretty dark after this.

pinkwraith oh, for anyone wondering, at the end of each manga volume, theres a novel style section called veldora's journal, where it shows his reactions to the events in each volume, usually silly things, and once ifrit shows up, it just gets sillier. still some seriousness, but veldora is mainly a big ole goofball

ZhonLord so... good and bad. The bad: it's a SECOND clipshow recap of the series after the previous clipshow in the actual final episode. It's REALLY frustrating to see this happen a second time, what the hell were they doing forcing recaps to happen in the season finale if they were just going to do this on top of it?! The good: it's narrated by Veldora and it gives some insights into him, as well as his current situation and how aware he is of outside events. And it is rather humorous overall. But the existence of this episode makes the other clipshow an even greater offense. This is severely disappointing.

Finfan Well, now we wait. I suggested this before but if anybody gets word of if/when the next season is coming out post it on the main page for this series as a comment. To add to my theory that some godlike being from the future is manipulating events from the future. It occurred to me that Rimuru in the future might be that being. Sending the Hero (Chloe) into the past to imprison Veldora and train Shizu. Shows with time travel plots are always a bit twisty.

NathanDee Hmm Filler but atleast it gave us some info into whats its like to be inside Rimuru and the relationship thats forming with the Veldora and Ifrit. Ifrit looks like he has or is going to accept Rimuru as his new master which would be epic to say the least, imagine they run into the Leon, that used to be Ifrits master and Rimuru used Ifrit to fight Leon.
