EbonWolf09 Won't be another season for a whe to come. They never expected it to build such a fan base. But you can read the manga which is much more detailed in the relationships between characters. The fight scenes are also more strategic and planned out. Even the battle with the other world is explained better.

chesjzh hi obv there'll be season two lol and the manga is pretty okay so read it lol it's harder to follow if you aren't focused as you read it but it's well done :) also since the manga isn't too much further ahead than the anime it'll be a WHILE before we get a new season (not for a year is my guess bc the manga gotta catch up and then the anime has to be planned out andI'm gonna guess the earliest is spring or summer season of 2020)

Marauder_Slade if u read the book at least he is honorable & waits a few years to marry her but the trip is he also marries melty & another beast girl most likely or at least had kids with the 3rd if not married but the real trip is he marries raphtalia 2x once in merlot mark & another time in the world he came from or at least he tried to but got interrupted... go read the novel like i did it is worth it

Marauder_Slade the way this is so different from the web novel i read makes me wonder what they are going to do if they do a 2nd season even tho i wanted to quit while reading it i hope they get to the point where Naofumi goes insane & is bent on world domination at least then they can put the end in the 3rd season but what would really be cool is if they also make a cartoon about the sequel called redo if the spear hero after that.

Flame77 @AbyssGearSyxx You are a little too critical on "One shield Man" *lol* It is easy to see why he made the choice.. it boils down to who he has become and we wanted this also.. STAY AND FIGHT (and a hopeful 2nd Season). He is a "Duke" and he said he is going to raise an Army. I give it a 9/10 and wanting more. Also with this end comes some good summer releases.. RandomGinger59 DrSpatula - It's not "blind optimism" when the producer at Kadokawa stated the chances of season 2 are high. And the written material is far enough ahead of the anime to give a reasonable 2nd season. Factoring that into how popular the show is domestically and overseas in the west; Saying a 2nd season is just "blind optimism" is ignorant. Unless the company suddenly halts production or their revenue suddenly plummets.

AbyssGearSyxx Hmm... he found meaning over everyone else telling him what to do... how nice. Only took like 6 episodes for him to decide that. While the first 16 felt like a couple of months the latest 8-9 felt like maybe a week in their time. Really kind of shallow. I would've preferred him spending more time acting as if he wanted the world to be able to fight without him honestly. The whole reason he is like that in the beginning of the anime is that in the real world it didn't feel like there was a place for him and no need for him to step to the occassion. In this fantasy world there is no place for him but a reason for him to step up to the occassion, just one that they foisted upon him. Also even though he was coasting through life in the real world, his family was helping him to do that, which means they cared. "Sorry mom, found some booty in a fantasy world that forced me into killing things as a job, so my life is complete without you. Not coming back, not even gonna attempt to reconnect for communication sake to let you know I am alright." Again prefer him to at least be a bit more lost. I liked him a lot more when he was being an ass because he had very good reasons for being one. Now that he is being nicer it's like he doesn't have much reason for doing so. I don't mind him expanding his party and influence, but with that blackmarket guy in the ending scene it makes you realize that he gained everything from being the ass he was being in order to do the things that people asked of him. Which means he was in the right for being an ass. Basically he was someone who thought independently despite being confused about his place in everything. That's like everyone in real life should be, and why I dislike the change.
