AnAquariusPoet95 Oh my God I wish this anime's first season would be longer than just 25 eps... The fighting scenes are beyond epic, I'm love'n that strategy they came up with against L'arc, and the bit about showing each other's hands whilst fighting is dope, I also love that the dialogue in the midst of the fights seem more realistic as opposed to letting long ass speaches go on L'arc just jumps right in with his attacking... I'm also glad the other cardinal heroes are made to seem a bit more useless in comparison to Naofumi because tho they are also important to the story it is named after the Shield Hero, I love this rise to glory... On to the Final episode, hope season 2 comes soon, I may just have to read the manga this is a great story

RandomGinger59 There's for sure going to be a second season. The producer, Junichiro Tamura, stated that there most likely will be. There's enough material for a second season and their profits have increased a lot, largely due to this show. So the chances of there being a second season are pretty high.

Flame77 Nooo..... don't let this end.. Please... not the best of winter/spring release...8/10.. Great character growth, story progression, animation, fight scenes, gaming references... Like Log Horizon, Sword Art (1st season) with a little Grimgar thrown in for good measure. *Goblin Slayer stands on its own because there is not "transport to a new world"*. This one I'll watch again!!! Animeking recommend!
