jaalfunyuns The plot is not that bad but the delivery is a let down compared to how well the previous seasons were structured. It's basically a Meet The Robinsons and Shokugeki no Soma crossover. If you want to watch more of Takumi denying his gayness for Soma and Soma only being food-sexual as usual then I would recommend though.

QuietPi basically, here's the season: let's show a bunch of clips of the food and avatars we gave to the chefs in previous seasons and slop together a random plot with it having to do with Erina's God Tongue....again....but we'll just keep flashing previously used images from every single food battle that's taken place so far throughout it instead of coming up with new dishes again! Amazingly lazy, isn't it great!?

kingly This season wasn't the most entertaining and i found the cooking to be highly over dramatic as always but completely unrealistic... as always, and iv'e never had a problem with this but i hate how EVERY DAMN DISH was something impossibly well made and they basically broke a new record every episode (and the laws of physics). It kinda made everything less valid. The thing that really made this special was the conclusion. SPOILER: When we find out how this generation of chefs were brought together in attempt to make them surpass the previous one was executed poorly in my opinion. Maybe i wasn't paying attention to Nakiri Senzaemon or he didn't feel very relevant but i think they should've hinted at his plan a little more before revealing it at the end. It all sort of made sense but felt forced like it was thought up last minute and they needed to throw it in. If you watched up to this point your probably an actual fan and not just in it to see some anime titties but if you are i don't recommend watching this season it was nothing but cooking. They left all the plot in the earlier seasons got right into the cooking to finish it off. The tournament wasn't really entertaining compared to previous seasons either 6/10 Just because i love the show And culinary.

Saoiray Well, this should be around 265 of the manga. It'll send him out for investigation, turn into a detective type story, and then have evil brother against him. I had to stop the manga because it got so bad.

delamet @Saoiray I believe putting soma and others on top 10 after their first year kind of destroyed the whole story and the rest of it had to be rushed. Don't know whether it was forced on the artist but the last 3 chapters were implying there was more story to tell.

Saoiray Unfortunately, this is a trash arc if they take after the manga. Everything about Food Wars changes and very little makes sense. Be prepared to get disappointed.
