ZhonLord Attack on Titan Season 2 is easily the most refined part of the story so far, and the first pieces of information about the greater story lurking in the shadows. The story makes a wise choice by mostly focusing on the people around Eren as opposed to prioritizing him directly, giving us much more information about and engagement with the other Scouts; their involvement in the story has a lot more impact by the end. We also get the first hints as to what is really going on, and are introduced to several new Titans along with the return of the Armored and Colossal Titans. By the end of this season you can make some pretty strong conclusions about the true overarching story, however you’ll still have to wait a while for confirmation of whether you’re right or wrong. Suffice it to say that Season 2 asks a lot of questions and sets the stage for their answers, and if you’re trying to decide whether to continue the series you should ABSOLUTELY do so. It takes the foundation that Season 1 laid, builds on it even further, and delivers the same quality and power you’ve already borne witness to.
