whachikan @chesjzh yes, that's generally the case, with some exceptions (Blood Lad, for instance, is just 10 episodes long), but the end of the episode was VERY final episode-ish, with credits popping up before the scene closed and a complete lack of a next week title card; I tried looking up to see if they'd announced how many episodes this season would be and couldn't find anything, just wondered if anyone knew if they'd given a definitive episode count for the season

chesjzh whachikan nope cuz anime is split up by seasons so 52 weeks splits into 13 episode "cours". still got 6 more after this

whachikan I honestly haven't much cared for season 2, I felt like it has been running in circles trying to keep up the skit comedy thing with Nishikata's juvenile and unhealthy "getting back" obsession while sidelining the far more interesting and amusing tentative romance between he and Takagi, but I will say that this was a great episode and makes up for a lot of the rest of the season (which put me to sleep more often than it made me laugh). Is it just me or was this the final episode of the season?

mad199109 Wow. Low key, Takagi admitted she loves him. "I wished to go stargazing with you." "You had to cross that river" - "The milky way?" - "Yes." In other words, she wished upon a star, and the impossible moment she wished for, came true. "I wish to go stargazing with you." Romantic, beautiful, pure, and so fucking well written. 10/5 would rewatch.

mad199109 HOLY FUCK! Takagi as an adult looking into a photo album and smiling! YES. FINALLY. I hope we follow these guys through a couple of more series because this is just fucking hear warming and quite frankly wholesome as fuck. Slice of life is a dangerous genre!
