Ninzerker @Arduno while the thought and intention that would do wonders towards normalising beasts and humans living in tandem. I think it would be better for the griffon to be a mail courier. It mitigates the risk of childish or embittered persons causing potential "accidents" with an otherwise wild animal taking people or persons into potentially dangerous circumstances. All it would take is some mean kid with a slingshot to kill your business. And at that same time the animal will be faulted, you yourself held responsible, and human/beast coexistence takes a hit as well. Also, as a mail courier it shouldn't be too troublesome for a physically sturdy species, less stain from repeated takeoffs and landings will also help mitigate long term damage as well. Afterall, the larger a flighted creature is the more strain takeoff and landings place on their bodies.
