floneko @Virjunior I know that comment is a year old now but that is so fucking judgmental. Curiosity in rape fantasy scenarios is very common and is neither proof nor indication that there is something “wrong” with someone for being curious about it or turned on by it. I don’t personally like these goblin-rape scenes but “forced” scenarios, at least in hentai, is very. Personally as a woman I do enjoy watching rape/forced sex scenes so long as it’s between two humans, and I am quite healthy despite my colorful fantasies. You cannot possibly determine sick rapists versus people with rape-fantasy interests based on a viewer’s interest in that element of the show. I’m trying this show again after watching the first episode ages ago and didn’t enjoy watching the goblin rape personally but hope that the story is enjoyable enough otherwise.

I don't think it's something we could pull off in English, but in the original language it leaves so much room for imagination. I also appreciate how it emphasizes the "everyman" aspect of this show — that real people don't have plot armor, and bad things can and do happen to everyone. <33
