MuchBro To all the reviewers who said that the whole storyline of this season didn't contribute to anything at all, YOU'RE WRONG. This season concentrated more on LOVE, ALL FORMS OF LOVE, and PERSPECTIVES ON LOVE (cliche, I know). But do not fret, this anime still packs a punch in their action scenes when it comes to, do not lose hope. A good anime isn't all just about action guys, CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT is also important.

Chimmie i must say, this anime is not bad, i like the storyline and the characters are well done with nice background stories. Altho after season 1, i did expect something more of ais and bell but maybe season 3 then :p 8/10

castro ive been waiting for a couple weeks thinking another episode was gonna come out and it never did, so I guess it just ended? uh, ok. nothing actually happened with the story. but look we got another waifu!! *rolls eyes*. she cute tho but like, how many years went by for us to get a season of filler pretty much? not saying it was bad, I actually had a good time watching it but from a critical standpoint, we gained nothing from this season. and that in itself is a disappointment tbh

WIzzstar Truthfully, I am very disappointed. I hoped till the very last episode that something will change in this season 2 but unfortunately my desperate attempts to like this season never arrived in the end. So, basically, season 2 has nothing to offer! There is no story development like it was in season 1. Even tho Bell did level up it felt like he downgraded instead. Bell became weak crying sissy, completely oblivious about everything. This anime has a lot of potential, I just don't understand why often a hero is being presented at first really good but then suddenly gets a major downgrade and creates this aura where you just can't seem to like the main character anymore. Bell Cranel went from emotionally weak character to being strong willed with a lot of motivation for the future. And then from his strong point went to being weak minded and useless again... sad... I hope season 3 will be better.

whachikan Not a good follow-on to the first season, the only nice thing I can say about it is that Lefiya never show up, so it's at least better than Sword Oratorio, but this didn't feel like a natural continuation of any of the themes or plots of season 1, nor did the characters seem to have any of their previous motivations, remember all that character development between Aiz and Bell in season 1 and how they motivated each other to get better, yeah, all but forgotten. Remember how the dungeon and its mysteries were a driving part of pretty much everything in season 1, yeah, they go in it for like 5 minutes... in the entire season. Remember how Bell grew by pushing himself to become better and by facing adversity and overcoming it? Yeah, well, here he just gets lucky or gets rescued by someone or gets a temporary power buff from a fox girl. The only thing that this season achieved that the first season didn't was turning it into an actual harem anime instead of an anime that sounded like a harem anime and wasn't, a dubious achievement at best (and I'll be honest, shipping Bell and Hestia just seems off to me, it feels too much like Hestia is using her position to twist Bell to being the person she wants rather than helping him become who he wants to be). It's not downright BAD, not like Isekai Cheat Magicians or the lolicon guy with a magical gun in a dungeon show (whose name I've already forgotten), but it's just so far from what made its predecessor great. I'm not at the point where I won't watch season 3, but my interest in it has... lessened considerably

TPIP This season makes the spin off season about the loki familia look like a fucking masterpiece. Disappointed and nobody can change my mind. My man Bell had no defining moments other than the war games in the beginning of the season and crying like a bitch for the rest.

I've played the limited-time story of "Arrow of Orion" (it's good), it has all manga stories but 4 campaigns following Bell, Ryu, Ais, and Leifya. MOST IMPORTANT! The creator released the origin story of the argonaut and it is ongoing for a limited time. before I ramble again, to everyone. This show is great and the light novels go as far as telling up to 5 months after his adventuring (we are a month and 17 days in from season 1s ending) Sadly the manga has been dead for awhile and only shows a day or 2 after season 1 setting up for season 2
