ILikeBananaS i cried so much during the last episode and overall... i can't believe that there are no season 2... yet. I loved the anime sooo much and i hope he will chose Hina after all :3. I know that there were hard times form them but i think it is worth it for the love. I really ship them ( Natsuo and Hina). I watched this anime like 4 days ago but i still remember Natsuo's and Hinas tears so i can't get a hold of my self and I cry every time my self. especially when on YouTube es see that moment when Natsuo find the letter at the end... fuck I started crying again. well... I really enjoyed this anime and I'm waiting for season 2

Chimmie well the story isnt bad but as someone who dusnt read manga's i can tell it's missing much that probably wasnt shown. The ending is weard and unlogical but hey its anime so dont expect endings to be "normal" :p

MrD2YouBub The expressions on Hina and Rui's face in Episode 1 when they discover that Natsuo is going to be their step-brother is beyond priceless. It's my favorite part of this anime. I'm writing this later than my earlier review. The manga is WAY better than the anime but the anime is what got me interested in the manga. It's pretty good in it's own right. I'm hoping for a Season 2.

MrD2YouBub So I see complaints that the anime is not as good as the manga. Apparently some people don't understand that they can't squeeze everything in the manga into the anime. Otherwise you could end up with a series that has 20 one hour long episodes and yet still not get even a quarter of what's in the manga. Add to that the whole reason an anime is made is to make money. Now as for this anime let's start out that I have unfortunately NOT read the manga. Seeing the anime makes me want to read the manga because the manga is always better at expanding the story, filling in the holes, and giving each character more depth. This was a GOOD anime in my humble opinion. To start out the opening song was one of the best I've heard to open an anime and it was one that I didn't fast forward through with each episode. The story was very interesting and you really felt for the characters. And it didn't turn into hentai which would have distracted from the story. The story was about the emotions and the feelings, not the sex. The virgins here should get a clue. I'm hoping that the anime gets a second season. If I remember right the manga is still ongoing so the entire story hasn't been told.

castro What severely pisses me off about this show; they not only tell at least 60 chapters worth of the manga within only 12 episodes, they also skipped around in what lies in chapters ahead just to make the story flow better. The story had no need to flow any better. The manga flows magnificently with how it is originally written. And by them trying to make the story flow "better", they gravely fucked it up. How are you going to end the anime for the first season, with natsuo getting his heart ripped out, and then have rui make a small confession at the end and portray it like his heart has already swayed? All in the same episode. That makes a sleezy, unrealistic and unfaithful main character that nobody can relate to. Let alone how it made Rui's character seem. Every single character has so much effort put into each one of them and it really, really devastates me that they fucked up this adaptation so horribly. If the studio/ producers wanted to push out some trash, sure go for it. That's exactly what they did. But if they were trying to make money, if they actually gave a damn about the story and followed it, they would have succeeded SO much more if they followed the manga verbatim. It's sad because the manga actually had me crying from the characters, and it was the first time I had ever been invested in characters to the point where id cry for them. Let alone them being fictional characters. Coming from someone not entirely intact with their emotions, to make me cry, that's some serious artistry. And I really don't appreciate the collective minds that thought it was a good idea to create this adaption and direct it the way it has been done.

Krystalia_Ucara I come writing this review after watching episode 11 and decided to go to see the differences of what happens in the anime vs the manga. The anime is... interesting for just its premise alone really and to see how this situation pans out. I feel that even if this didn't stem from a source material such as a manga or novel that the pacing alone for this would feel a bit weird thinking in retrospect. Because of that it made me actually go back to the manga and find out they're completely cutting out entire arcs or changing specific moments just so that things blend together a bit more cohesively due to cut portions. This is usually done by visual montages of say a school festival that actually has a specific event happen about one of the teachers but they actually cut it out entirely and then the aftermath portion is passed off as him taking time off. Because of this I'd have to say that if you are interested in this story you'd best be sure to go read it as well afterward or at any point really to get the full story.

castro the manga is an ecchi harem and romance, and it has way more sex than the show is probably going to allow. frankly though it gets dull when anime beats around the bush or just makes a single kissing scene at the very end (usually). romance is one of my favorite genres and I love the kissing scenes, but everyone knows it doesnt end there. im ready for a new wave of romance instead of all the blushy shit for 20 episodes. show me real love and affection, that's what I come here for. Japanese culture is very respectful towards others and I respect that, but they aren't saints either, obviously. Im not asking for porn, I just really hope this anime continues with following the manga through and through.
