IntenseIntrovert 1) I disagree with @UnoneTV below: Ishida is NOT a 'bad teammate'. The way I see it (if i remember everything well) is this: He was trying to figure things out on his own, as usual, but he was the ONLY one of the group who was NOT familiar with Fullbringers - he didn't meet any of them, didn't know their names, and didn't train with any of them, like Ichigo, Sado or Inoue. He didn't even know that THEY (his friends) were training with them in some secret place. If there was lack of communication between Ishida and the others within Ichigo's group it was a matter of some bad timing, bad luck, and pure coincidence - he couldn't know all the details while he was recovering from his wound in the hospital, and when Inoue and Sado came to visit him, he wasn't there anymore. I think that in this story arc he was the one who knew the LEAST amount of details, but he still drew some conclusions, and right after leaving the hospital he went in search of his friends, thus discovering that every place, house and person he approached had the traits of the same 'reiatsu' (spiritual pressure), as his attacker. He said it himself in this episode, that he DIDN'T know what it meant, because he didn't know Tsukishima's Fullbring abilities. But he knew that 'something was wrong', so he kept tracking his friends, and finally he found Ichigo on that roof, and then tried to help him as best as he could, risking his own health and life again (like so many times before) - and that's a quality of a GOOD friend for me, for sure. Up to this point on the roof he (Ishida) didn't know that he was attacked and 'marked' by someone else than all the others, because he didn't know Tsukishima or Ginjo at all. The only thing I don't understand is why he (Ishida) didn't tell the others that he saw TWO attackers, unless a) Tsukishima tinkered with his memory right after Ginjo attacked him, or b) he didn't want to worry Ichigo and the others, same as Sado and Inoue didn't want to worry Ichigo after they were followed or attacked, because they didn't want to put him in any danger, as long as he was still completely powerless. And I think that Ginjo's praise of Ishida's intelligence was very well deserved here, considering that his conclusions were similar to those drawn before by Sado, who was at the center of events and had almost all information all the time, while Ishida didn't know almost anything, as I mentioned above... (Also - being 'antisocial', being 'stupid' and being 'autistic' are 3 very different things. Not to mention that autism has a whole spectrum, it's not exactly something that a person can change, and many autistic people are actually VERY smart, so that shouldn't even be used as an insult). --- 2) Still about Ishida, although not from his persperctive this time, but rather from my own - I'm a bit embarassed of myself that I didn't notice that CRUCIAL detail - it seems SO OBVIOUS now, after this episode: that Ishida was the ONLY one of all the attacked people who actually had a PHYSICAL wound, which required some surgical intervention from his father in the hospital. Everyone else remembered being 'cut' by the enemy, but their own bodies were intact. Unfortunately Ichigo didn't notice that clue left by Ginjo and Tsukishima, and neither did I. --- 3) In the middle of the episode I was almost ready to cry together with Ichigo, but I'm glad that he's stronger than me, and nothing can erase that iconic defiant FROWN from his beautiful bold face for long, no matter what! But I loved the emotional scenes within his 'inner world', as usual. The breaking of chains metaphore was perfect. --- 4) Rukia is the ONLY female character who ALMOST doesn't annoy me when she hits a guy - but she does it ONLY ONCE, to 'shake him up' and make a point, then she screams some words of harsh love and true wisdom, and that's enough, so at least she knows when to stop ;) And I was SO GLAD to see her and to hear what she had to say, and then when the sky split open to reveal an even bigger surprise... The broad smile on my face only got broader :D --- 5) Speaking about the sky - Ichigo's new power level casually making the rain go away - and the look on Ginjo's face, haha, that was PRICELESS! ;) --- 6) I'm guessing that the main reason why Ichigo got his powers back (except being granted it as an unexpected and invaluable gift from his many faithful friends, of course) was simply the fact that for the first time after those 17 powerless months he actually WANTED it, and ASKED for it, and CALLED his power back, with his own words, both in his 'inner world' and outside of it, ALOUD. I only hope that this time it's not something 'temporary', like in the previous story arc, but that he will be able to keep it forever... or at least - as long as he needs it and wants it. --- 7) Summing up - YEAH, it was a GREAT episode, very dynamic, with many good moments, nice surprises and satisfying discoveries! :)

UnoneTV Ishida is such a bad teammate, didn't share any information for WEEKS about the enemy. "Don't you understand? ENEMY IS RIGHT BEHIND YOU!!!" OH YEAH?? HOW WOULD HE, WHEN U DIDN'T TELL THE INFO ABOUT THE ENEMY FACE FOR SO MUCH TIME?? And all praising his sharpness, yikes. He's so stupid, it's illegal. Or, just ausitm? So unsocial, that didn't want to talk, after getting rekt? Much ego? Jeez. Worst teammate. Evarrr.

15-year-old Kurosaki Ichigo is not your everyday high school student. He has from as far he can remember always had the ability to see ghosts and spirits. A fateful day arrives as Ichigo encounters the shinigami Kuchiki Rukia, who saves him and his family from a Hollow at the cost of injuring herself. During this encounter, with Rukia unable to defeat the hollow she transfers her shinigami powers into Ichigo. In the aftermath, unable to continue with her job, Rukia allows Ichigo to take on the role of a shinigami in her place as they together defeat the Hollows plaguing Ichigo's town.
