IntenseIntrovert EDIT: Ok, after taking some MUCH NEEDED break, and some good night's sleep, and mulling over some things a few more times (as I usually tend to do) - I think I've finally found the KEY to understand the absurdity of this story arc a bit better. Those Fullbringers and their absurd Fullbring tools seemed so out of place in Bleach for me, that I just couldn't skake off the feeling, that I was missing some important or even CRUCIAL detail. So here's my new theory (don't read it before watching the episode, if you want to formulate your own hypotesis): there are some curious images in the last two episodes, which I think are distant echoes of a very different story, and that would be 'Alice's adventures in Wonderland' by Lewis Carrol. I mean the teenage girl, something about the way she dresses (especially that little white apron), the sudden growing of shrinking of people and objects, the whole idea of a dollhouse, the piglet, the heart shape (just like one of the symbols on the deck of playing cards in Wonderland), the sneezing as something almost magical, the weirdly distorted time, the drinking of tea from the cup and eating a cake (just like at the Mad Hatter's Tea Party), and the idea of staying calm and unshaken, even when all the world around us gets 'Curiouser and curiouser' - to use the quote from 'Alice's adventures....' There are possibly even more connections and parallels, but it's been a while since I read that wonderful book, so I might still miss some obvious details. In any case, the absurdity of 'Alice's adventures...' was the main charm of the story, because it still made SENSE within that world. But using the similar level of absurdity here in Bleach doesn't work so well (at least not in my eyes) so it cought me off guard at a first glance. But finding some key to solve this little riddle makes me a BIT more relaxed, and seeing the possible connections between those two tales makes me a BIT more positively inclined towards this particular story arc, even if its level of absurdity will increase even more (and someting tells me it will....) I have a strong suspicion that Fullbringers will keep reminding me about this great quote from 'Alices's adventures': “But I don't want to go among mad people,” Alice remarked. “Oh, you can't help that,” said the Cat: “we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.” --- enough said ;)

IntenseIntrovert ... And the level of absurdity rises higher and higher... With the gems like: 'Hows that? Sneezing on the object undoes my Dollhouse!' - happily exclaimed by Riruka... Or with the menacing: 'Sorry! Do you mind dying a little?'- said by Inoue's wannabe attacker, who got then miserably defeated by her uhm... super-human level of hotness... But he soon took his revenge on her by nastily adding: 'You've got hot looks, but you ask stupid questions!'... - In short, I think I need a break from this story arc for a little while ;) --- I will just add that when it comes to characters who walk around with their noses buried in the books they read - I very much prefer Kakashi sensei and his errr... unusual book preferences in 'Naruto' - than this smug and self-satisfied wielder of the 'Book of the End' Fullbring here... Really? I mean I personally know some pretty badass Bookworms, but... Yeah, I think I need a little break right now ;)

During this encounter, with Rukia unable to defeat the hollow she transfers her shinigami powers into Ichigo.
