IntenseIntrovert Ahh, such a wholesome, peaceful episode, with some well deserved moments of relaxation and relief, after all the previous pressure and tension, both for the characters and for the viewers. A few things suprised me here though --- 1) I regret that we didn't get to see Captain Kenpachi's and Captain Byakuya's fight with Yammy, I was really looking forward to observe their rare cooperation in a longer battle, but I get the feeling that they've both gained a whole new level of respect for each other --- 2) I'm even more suprised that both of those captains AND their defeated opponent Yammy are still alive. Did they deliberately let him live, after defeating him? And how is it possible that Captain Kurotsuchi didn't begin to 'dissect him'? I guess that's why he's going back to Hueco Mundo 'for some experiments' now, though... And I feel sorry for Yammy, if that's the case... --- 3) I'm also rather shocked that AIZEN didn't die yet, so I guess it's not the end of the trouble with him YET... But when I heard that he has been sentenced to 18800 or 20000 years of prison - he suddenly reminded me of a similar rogue character, sentenced to 10000 years of prison for his crimes: the infamous Illidan Stormrage, nicknamed 'The Betrayer', from the books accompanying WOW game lore (they have many different authors, but some of them are really masterfully written, by the way). --- 4) I can't say I'm glad to see Aizen still alive, but I'm definitely happy to see that Captain Commander Yamamoto didn't die after his last heroic fight with him. I really like his respectable character, as I mentioned before, and I laughed at his dialogue with Captains Kenpachi, Byakuya and Koryaku here - their answers about the meaning of the 'captain cloak' were hilarious, haha, and they portrayed their unique personalities really well ;) --- 5) I'm also OVERJOYED to see my favourite Captain Ukitake still alive and doing well - I really love him, both his personality and his looks, and I also love his voice actor (Hideo Ishikawa - who also voiced Itachi Uchiha in 'Naruto' series) so I hope to see (and hear) much more episodes with him in the future. --- 6) I'm glad that Hinamori is alive too, and that both Captain Histugaya and even the Shinigami Queen (of laziness) aka Rangiku Matsumoto are so determined to train more and become stronger than ever now. His fierce training in the cave made me smile, and her memories about Gin put me into some melancholic mood, but all those scenes were very peacefully beautiful. And finally --- 7) I don't believe that Ichigo will completely lose his powers forever and ever, but... I'm not always right in my predictions while reading or watching great stories, which makes them all the more enjoyable, so I will patiently wait and see what happens next - I bet thera are many more pleasant surprises to come :)

15-year-old Kurosaki Ichigo is not your everyday high school student. He has from as far he can remember always had the ability to see ghosts and spirits. A fateful day arrives as Ichigo encounters the shinigami Kuchiki Rukia, who saves him and his family from a Hollow at the cost of injuring herself. During this encounter, with Rukia unable to defeat the hollow she transfers her shinigami powers into Ichigo. In the aftermath, unable to continue with her job, Rukia allows Ichigo to take on the role of a shinigami in her place as they together defeat the Hollows plaguing Ichigo's town.
