IntenseIntrovert Ah, so it was merely Aizen's 'chrysalis form'. And when he emerged out of it he has eyes like liquid amethysts and... most importantly, he has much longer HAIR. ---- It's fascinating how often thick, wild, untamed, smooth, shiny, wavy, spiky, flowing, long hair - signify the growing POWER of the male hero or villain. From the story of biblical Samson, who derived his strength from his uncut hair, through some mythological stories, such as the tales about the Irish hero Cu Chulainn with his three-coloured special hair, through so many modern stories and comic-books about the long-haired fighters... And even here, with so many characters transforming into their most powerful long-haired forms in Bleach: for example Grimmjow as a Faun-like creature in his final fight with Ichigo, but also Ichigo himself in his final stage of Hollowfication during his fight with Ulquiorra... And finally Aizen with his magically grown hair here... It's quite funny, that in my comment some few episodes ago I agreed with someone who compared Aizen to Madara Uchicha, but I also said that Madara looked MUCH more powerful, with his MAGNIFICENT dark cascade of hair, which looked like a wild, black roaring lion's mane, and I said that Aizen's single dangling lock in the middle of his forehead makes him look weak, like some 'pedantic courtier' or some 'fallen Disney movie price' going to the ball to enjoy some dance... And lo and behold!- in his final transformation even Aizen's hair is LOOONG... So yeah, NOW I can finally see his TRUE power properly ;) Also, now that I think about it - even Kenpachi is an example of that rule: he uses an eyepatch on one of his eyes to seal some part of his power away, and he also uses those little bells on his hair - partially to make his opponents even more scared of him as he approaches, and to give them a chance to hear and dodge his attacks, because he likes to prolong his figts, just for pleasure and fun of it, as we know... But I think that those little bells also seal some of his power away, just like the eyepatch. So without them even he would be more powerful, which again proves that in many, many stories a male hero or villan is as powerful as his hair ;) ---- The only exception to this rule are some fiercely fighting bald monks, such as Ikkaku in Bleach - he is the strongest with his bald head glowing as a light bulb, but he still looks badass, he has one of the best Zanpakuto, his fighting style is pure art, and I like him exactly as he is :P

15-year-old Kurosaki Ichigo is not your everyday high school student. He has from as far he can remember always had the ability to see ghosts and spirits. A fateful day arrives as Ichigo encounters the shinigami Kuchiki Rukia, who saves him and his family from a Hollow at the cost of injuring herself. During this encounter, with Rukia unable to defeat the hollow she transfers her shinigami powers into Ichigo. In the aftermath, unable to continue with her job, Rukia allows Ichigo to take on the role of a shinigami in her place as they together defeat the Hollows plaguing Ichigo's town.
